Landlord Information

What you need to do depends on the property.

Occupied Property

If a tenant is already living in or occupying the property, complete the Landlord Service Agreement & Fiber Authorization.

Unoccupied Residential Property

Complete a Residential Utility Application to place utilities in the landlord’s name until a tenant moves in.

Unoccupied Business Property

Complete a Business Utility Application to place utilities in the landlord’s name until a tenant moves in.

Landlord Service Agreement

This agreement tells the City who owns the property and what should happen to utility services between tenants—either disconnect them or return them to the landlord’s name.

Properties With Multiple Units

• One shared meter: Utilities are billed to the landlord. Complete a residential or business utility application.
• Separate meters: Utilities are billed to each tenant.
