Cemetery
The Spanish Fork Cemetery is a peaceful, well-maintained community cemetery that serves as a final resting place for generations of local families. Visitors can find burial information, cemetery maps, and other helpful resources for planning or locating a gravesite.
Purchase cemetery plots at the Finance Office in Library Hall, 80 S. Main St. Before purchasing, we recommend calling cemetery staff at 801-830-8457 to schedule a time to view available plots.

Decoration Rules & Removal Schedule
Decorations must be kept on the headstone or surrounding concrete border unless otherwise allowed. Cemetery staff may remove decorations that are old, unsightly, prohibited, or interfere with maintenance.
If you want to keep a decoration, please remove it by the deadlines below.
General Removal Schedule

November–January holidays: Remove within 30 days of the holiday or event.

February–October holidays: Remove within 7 days of the holiday or event.

Funeral decorations: Remove within 7 days of the funeral.
Remaining decorations may be discarded by cemetery staff.
Spring Cleanup

March 1: Patrons must remove winter decorations.

March 2: Cemetery staff removes remaining winter decorations.
Mother’s Day

Decorating may begin the Wednesday before Mother’s Day.

Remove decorations by the Sunday after Mother’s Day.

Decorations interfering with lawn maintenance will be removed beginning Monday, one week after Mother’s Day.
Memorial Day

Decorating may begin the Wednesday before Memorial Day. Shepherd hooks are permitted.

Remove decorations and shepherd hooks by the Sunday after Memorial Day.

Remaining items will be removed beginning Monday, one week after Memorial Day.
Lost or Stolen Items
Spanish Fork City is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please avoid placing valuable items at gravesites.
